We need the three points after losing against Swansea on Tuesday. West Ham were blown away by Manchester City on Wednesday and will be up for it. Biggest threat could be Snodgrass rather than Carroll. Southampton v West Ham United Referee: Graham Scott Assistants: S Long, D Bryan Fourth official: N Swarbrick Graham Scott (born 1968) is an English-born referee who officiates in the Premier League. Scott was educated atAbingdon Schooland joined the National List of referees in 2008 officiating many important games, includingCrawley Town's upset of Bolton in the 2012–13 Football League Cup. In 2015, he was promoted to the Select Group of Referees, who officiate the matches in the Premier League, replacing long time referee Chris Foy. Did our 1 - 2 defeat against Hull, booked five of ours and none of theirs.
The big question is how fit Manolo is....may be Naples fit but not Southampton fit. And he hasn't been played a lot recently. A sub perhaps.
Would appreciate it if a mod could reduce the size of the Saints logo! Not savy enuf to work it out.....
West Ham, the old foe... In the Championship we were the Jedi; the shining lights, and they were the dark side. Something poetic about Fonte joining them of all clubs. Both risen to the premier league, though going about it very different ways from the inside of the club to on the pitch. Both sets of fans very passionate, both enjoy good football and bringing through youth players. 1-1 Tadic 13', Lanzini 61'.
I feel like we might be slightly overcompensating for our lack of Centre Backs with the size of our badge.
always enjoy west ham fixtures. You just never know with saints we will either be **** and lose or brilliant and win
Edit: my bad - just seen it's been posted in the actual Van Dijk thread. At least you get to see a pretty picture of the man mountain in this one.
