Lucky Lucky Swansea. We could not complain if we had lost 10 - 0 we were that poor. We will struggle big time if we dont bring in some proper talent before the window closes that you can see plainly....I am going to put a bet on that Cardiff will replace us in the premiership next season as we dont deserve to be here with the management's idea of strengthening and keeping our best players when they are under contract.......Jack cork you made the right choice joining Burnley at least they never embarrassed themselves and tried.....corky MOM...
Having only given up 2 goals ( 1 was Rashfords dive and penalty ) in our last 6 Premier games , Clement seems to have built his defensive system to a T, after giving up 70 goals last season . Easier to build an attack than a defence so Clement will be pleased at absorbing the pressure this game in particular . With Abraham partially wounded , Llorente out and Siggy in the woodwork somewhere , all I see is our attack on the rise in the future as things settle and an attack player or two come in before the window closes and or players return . I'm pretty confident going into game # 2 .
We were poor defensively today. Southampton should have had a sackful. Play like that next week and Utd will slaughter us.
SSSHHHH! Take it easy on him. His new friend has done a runner. I did warn him, but you know what these impetuous people are like. Just won't listen.
Indeed , I'm actually expecting a good season from Ki . Look for VDH to train a bit of Naughton's position if no knew RB is brought in before the window ( just a prediction opinion .
We can all make up a thousand excuses but the fact is we had no corners no shots on target and if anyone is happy with that then they dont expect much.....Saints was not that good but they managed 29 shots an if only a quarter of them had been on target we would have been hammered....We were played off the park and that is down to mediocre signing and lack of quality signings.....Gylfi or Llorentte would not have made a blind bit of difference today as all the play was in our own half......Jenkins had better release at least £30m to buy players before it is too late.......Man utd next......and it will be Men against Boys if Clem dont get his act together....
Picked this from the Saints board! "Swansea lineup looks like one from the upper half of the Championship to me. Without Siggy and Llorente there's really not much to that squad." and that about sums up our Boardroom dealings this transfer window................
