I've always known Wenger's 4th Place Trophy would have to be pryed from his cold dead hand. Some things are just a given.

 

Great result, and a good boost for our top 4 chances. 3 points behind City and with a game in hand on Liverpool, we'll be 1 point behind them if we win it

 

If you beat Stoke, I think it will be yours with 2 easy home games afterwards. No chance we are taking 6 points from West Ham and Middlesborough.

Really, really good result, at one of our bogey grounds no less.

Hopefully we can continue with a similar result at Stoke at the weekend.

 

We'll go into that game high on confidence. Just hoping that we haven't picked up too many knocks and injuries from that game. Ox looks like he did his hamstring ...

 

Top four is on, Stoke away is the toughest game left to play, but they have nothing to play for while we are once again looking like we have risen from near death to reach the top four, Liverpool should have sealed their place in the CL ages ago and will now be under immense pressure not to **** it up, but they keep struggling against the crap teams in the league, and I can see them dropping points against West Ham, who will defend deep.

Arsenal fans might as well book their flights and hotel tickets for Munich in February now...

 

That Stoke game has just become massive. We should beat Sunderland at home and Everton look like they've basically given up.

The board are loving this... just a bit more positive play and they can announce Wenger's new contract.

You obviously haven't seen how we are playing lately. Awful at the moment with no momentum going into these last games

 

I'm torn. Winning is a plus most of the time (with exceptions below) although the only thing that specific win actually achieves is push us closer to top 4. And if helping us get top 4 gives Wenger the justification to sign a new contract then I'd rather we'd lost. One step back for two steps forward required. We need that decrepit moron out of our club by any means.

Anyway... I'd also want us to lose games if it meant us dropping out of the europa league places so we didn't waste our time with that. I'm also happy with us losing league cup games every season so we don't waste our time with that.

 

Personally, I want to see Arsenal win every game they play.
