Gary Cahill stays at Bolton, and will instead have the chance to go on a free, go for a significantly reduced fee at January, and extend his contract whilst earning more money. We managed to get N'Gog, a striker that needs some starts to get him going I feel, depends if Coyle thinks it's right to drop in-form striker Ivan Klasnic or captain Kevin Davies. And we secured Kakuta on loan till Christmas, who can't be that bad if Chelsea have him and he has played for the France U-20s, and Boyata for a season, the Man City full-back who wants to get some experience. We also already have Pratley, Reo-Coker, Eagles and Tuncay, who are all decent enough to put on a show when needed and contribute to the team. To round it all off, Holden has managed to play 80 minutes in a reserve game. Overall, we have come out good of this transfer window, and we can hopefully put up a fight against a confident Man Utd! COYWM!
Un-ban me from the Arsenal board then! I felt I had to make this thread or else we'd look like other boards where there are no threads.
Hope you get a result against Utd mate. The people need to learn that this side is not as 'amazing' as they seem.
They struggled away from home last season and against West Brom they didn't look too good! We drew last year with them we are argubly a better side this time round so we'll see how it goes
