    It's snowing!

First time in years that I have seen snow like this. Oh County Durham, I love you. Don't get snow like this in South Tyneside, anymore.

Feel like a kid again, might go and get a sledge there's some massive banks around here to play on.

    Is it snowing anywhere else?

Flights cancelled as snow causes havoc in UK
Heathrow airport said airlines have preemptively cancelled 80 departures and arrivals from 3pm.
It sent out a warning on Twitter earlier today urging passengers to check with their airlines for adjusted schedules or cancellations.

Snow in Consett, unsurprisingly. Nowhere near enough to be sent home from work early though, booooooo!

Erm, yeah. Think I jumped the gun with this one.

It was a right snow blizzard, but then it stopped after half an hour and everything back to normal. Not enough snow fell for it to be lying either.

    As you were.

9.6 miles. Good effort! If it snows somewhere in Co. Durham then it'll definitely snow up here.

The fields opposite the red lion (but further up towards Pity Me roundabout) are awesome for sledging - last time there was a big snowfall, the guy who owns them had no issues with people sledging on them either - there were skis and snowboards there too!!

I'm in the middle-Annfield Plain. It's snowing a little. No it's not. Now it is. Stopped. Started. Wait, it's snowing out the back. but it's blue sky out the front.
