What's happened to our "wealth" of scouts? Another dead day on the transfer front. There's also a 15% increase on last year for season tickets. Why?
I should imagine plenty of freebies have been given to local schools, businesses and charities. The truth is revenue from ST sales will be well down on last year. I admire ITTV’s ability to put a positive spin on the current set up and squad etc, yet I’m just not convinced much progress has actually been made thus far. Clarke and Marshall could prove to be valuable additions if - and it’s a big if - we keep hold of Holmes and Big Mag. Add da Silva and Mavididi on loans and we may just finish in the top half. A creative midfielder is a must - but who’s out there?
It depends how much money we have. The thing about our promotion last time that I found interesting was we didn't necessarily get "names". Danny Green was the one the majority of fans were excited about but he didn't perform consistently enough. The majority knew very little about Stephens, but he sounded like what we needed (and he was). Michael Morrison and Kermo left people bemused. Over elaborated point - there are always players available. We were fed **** in January about not paying over the odds and now we aren't paying anything. How anyone can derive a positive from that is as batshit as the CEO.
Anything less than 6000 tickets sold will mean another substantial loss of renewals. They talk total rubbish over there. The Belgians are cancerous filth that need to go, EVERYBODY knows that deep down.
Ducker reckons the Aussies are coming back with an improved offer, as they now have major backing from the Middle East. Fingers tightly crossed.
