he almost won player of the year (i think he should have). easily good enough for this sorry excuse of a squad.
I suggest that our board, aka the Great Triumverate, take a trip to Millwall, and ask them how to run a football club.
@TC (Lovely Geezer) shame about how your supporters reacted at FT yesterday TC.... it reinforced the stereotype of a Wall fan -- 'no one likes us and we don't care' .... especially the one Wall fan who ran across the pitch to the Bradford fans ..taunted them, climbed over the advertising beside the pitch and tried to get into the Bradford fans before a steward stopped him... now I am sure he could look after himself but .. there were hundreds of Bradford fans still there Now then Millwall's Chief Exec.... which Club sacked him prior to going to Millwall... I don't like the guy but... he's doing a lot better job than our current CE!
On the footballing side, hats off to Neil Harris for what he has achieved on average attendances way below 10,000 and a very average side. Well coached and well organised again yesterday - knock it long to Morison and Gregory and play round their two best players. Not rocket science, but a simple game plan apparently well beyond Karl Robinson. Gobbo should also heed Neil Harris' words about what it takes in League 1 - a squad full of young legs and ENERGY and just a couple of older heads for leadership. Dont forget we p1ssed about with a midfield 4 of Ulvestad, Foley, Crofts & Jackson for half a season #DadsArmy
Unfortunately mate, the 100 or so that ran on the pitch got all the headlines. No mention of the 27,000 Millwall fans that applauded in unison with the Bradford fans for the Bradford fire tribute!!
that is the problem mate, .............Charlton are known as the Club that forced Curbs out but the people in the Valley who wanted Curbs gone were the people who purchased STs to watch cheap Prem football... they were not proper Charlton fans (I know this because I have a mate who is a Liverpool fan who had two STs for the Premiership years) and yet the media keep saying that Charlton fans deserve L1 football because of how Curbs was treated! 99% of proper Charlton fans didn't want Curbs to leave. Once fans get tagged with a reputation it's so hard to get rid of.
It was more than 100 That's been the Millwall cop-out for the last 40 years, that it's only a small minority. Having said that, the people on Charlton Life currently wetting their knickers are the same folk who think they will force Duchatelet out by throwing plastic toys onto the pitch.
This really makes my blood boil. A piece of fake news which is now accepted as fact by too many people who should know better. Proves Goebbels' point that if you repeat a lie often enough people will believe it.
Look on the bright side - At least Charlton will have 2 extra games that they can actually get points in next season.
You're right - It has been officially confirmed" please log in to view this image "There were 3 Billion Millwall fans on the pitch yesterday"
Palace might be after a new manager tomorrow, Big Sam has reportedly quit... I wonder if they'll take Gobbo...?
At least their is some good news from today. He would have cemented them as a premiership for the foreseeable future.
