No Photos of Drumpf on holiday then? After constantly criticising Obama for going on holiday ti took him 2 weeks to go on a 3-day break at a cost of $3,000,000 to the American taxpayer to pay for the personnel and security.

More breathtaking hypocrisy from the Marxist BBC.

Dame Jenni Murray - freelance presenter of Radio 4 Woman's Hour - is rebuked after suggesting that trans sexual girls are not real girls.
A statement of the obvious, I would have thought ?

Meanwhile freelance BBC presenter and FA Cup-lookalike Gary Lineker continues to post left wing filth every day - and the BBC fails to rebuke him because ..guess what ... he is freelance <cheers>

Really can't see why you get so upset/annoyed at Lineker exercising his right to free speech, I don't agree with everything he says, I agree with even less of what you say on this forum (outside football) but I don't call for you to lose your job. Rich people in the public eye are entitled to their opinions & I cannot see why so many object to it. ignore it, or put a first class argument against it.

I don't have a problem with Lineker having left wing political views, although he kept them away from public scrutiny for years whilst be built up his lucrative portfolio of commercial 'capitalist' endorsements.

What I have a big problem with is the way he flagrantly uses his status as a BBC Match of the Day presenter to promote them.

He promoted his Twitter page as "MOTD" - people then follow it as a result and their timelines are deluged with puerile, poorly informed left wing crap about Brexit and Trump and Syrian refugees (although Lineker has yet to offer to home any himself)

The man is a fraud. And BBC employees - and for all the freelance stuff that is what he is - should not cross the line.

    PS:

There is no doubt @charltonted that you and I will never agree about politics, and so what ! I am avowedly anti EU immigration and right wing, and proud of it <cheers>

I am more central midfield. Sometimes I veer over to the left wing.

    Lineker's fave issues-

Brexit - I have craved it for 25 years. Immigration of 600,000 a year is immoral

Trump - I like him. A vast improvement on his predecessor.

Syrian refugees - we have taken enough, France is a safe country

The tabloid press - give them more power I say. They are performing the role that Corbyn is incapable of.

What about increased immigration from India, which according to an Indian government official will be the cost of a trade deal?

    <laugh> @ Trump.

As for the refugees, we had only taken in 4500 as of December, which isn't very much. I do think they are better off in likewise countries, and think it's a pisstake they travel through 10 safe countries to get here. Blair and Bush should be responsible for accommodating them.

I am all in favour of managed migration from our friends in the Commonwealth. We have a longstanding friendship and many cultural ties with India - I am as partial to a poppadum as anyone.

A slightly off colour comment from Sunderland manager David Moyes, & absolutely no surprise that Lineker is first to jump on the bandwagon against him.

Talking of bandwagons, Our Gary has gone quiet on the alleged racist attack in Croydon at the weekend ..

"Moyes incident highlights a tendency for some managers to treat interviewers with utter disdain. Pressured job. Well rewarded. Inexcusable." ........ Linaker's tweet..

Not as well rewarded as you though eh Garry? and what pressure do you have in your job?...... why shouldn't Moyes treat BBC interviewers with utter disdain... I do!

Should be a case of least said soonest mended. What's the point in getting offended on someone's behalf if that person is not actually offended him or herself? It might even give Sunderland an excuse to sack Moyes.

Lineker is clearly chomping at the bit to get noticed as a Twitter tart again. He has had a quiet couple of weeks after a couple of topical issues didn't play out to his narrative.

Staggering that the BBC still employ him as a freelance.
