Seems like most City fans want LJ out....But my question is, to replace him with who? In my opinion for what it's worth, if this happens, kick them (team management) all out, not worth pissing around with a caretaker manager Not my "Football" choice but you can't argue with his record in the championship. His contract as it stands at Cardiff is only until the summer, so can't be that much to payout in compensation. Talks are in progress regarding the club's close-season transfer policy before committing to a new deal. We need a manager to get us out of this mess and push us to playoffs for next season minimum. Lansdown could offer him a deal he couldn't refuse which would fall nicely for his retirement!! 2/3 year deal setting us up for the near future giving way to a decent manager there on..
He clearly is well aware of offering deals that managers can't refuse and that is why our current failure is still in the house. However I get your point but as far as coming up with a suitable candidate I haven't any suggestions, but it may be that all the suitable candidates are running for the hills as we speak. Sad and sorry state of affairs that make me concerned about next season, yet alone this one.
Whether you love him or hate him, he does seem made for this division! I'd be happy to have a character like him who doesn't give a toss what others think, and I believe he would really enjoy coming here what with past history!!
I cant see why he would leave Cardiff to come to a club, who by his own admission the fans really don't like him?
We would soon like him if we got the results.. He loves the love hate thing......all part of football
I can't stand the guy but he seems to always bring out the best in what he has to hand. Amazing job at Rotherham last year and he seems to have Cardiff humming along nicely when they were in complete disarray. I would welcome him with open arms...come and join us Colin ****er!
And yet people forget that when he leaves clubs he leaves them truly ****ed up. QPR, Rotherham to name two in a few years.
He leaves clubs with a certain type of player that is overpaid and old (some would say experienced?) who are fantastic to get a tune from short term and respond to 'trench warfare' tactics but long term are the type of players that cause underlying problems to clubs on high wages.. short termism would probably be the word. I would take him as a short term though till the end of the season yes. but he doesn't fit our boards agenda and most important he's not available and is simply not going to be!
I like the pantomime horse that is Dame Nellie but wouldn't want him near my club longer term, but that's all irrelevant now.
