Shelvey was convicted on a probabilty that he had said someting rascist, not fact, as it could not be proven
He's still adament that he did not say what they are saying he said

with unlimited powers
the threat to Shelvey to increase the punishment must of swayed his decision to not appeal
it just would not of happened in an English court

the fact that Shelvey and Dummett got off with red cards against Forest was due to the fact everyone could see that a wrong was done
this event could not be seen or proved, and was only hearsay, so therefor the FA acted on a probability that it could of been said

so you try to break some ones leg you get a 3 match ban
you call someone a smelly arab possibly as a response to said smelly person making a personal insult on your appearance , you get a 5 match ban .

Hearsay evidence carries far more weight in civil hearings. Shelvey has been found guilty based on questionable evidence and findings. If he is going to be done for discrimination then what the unidentified Wolves player? They should be investigating that ****ty little club.

 

In the past fortnight I have seen
Rocco for Man united twice dived in with both feet off the ground on two separate occasions
Sissokho for Spurs catch someone with studs up the thigh of the player
Barkley for Everton went flying through Henderson two feet off the ground and took his standing leg
not one of the above merited a red card with a 3 match ban
all were given yellows which meant the FA could take no further action
by their own laws it is acceptable to try and break another footballers legs without a ban but to call someone a name
how does that old saying go ..... sticks and stones

 

Other people did other stuff, therefore it's just fine and dandy that people should be allowed to say racist things to other people. Well done lads.
