As will I , players and managers come and go the only constant is me supporting them. Neil was given a "war chest" and Inherited a talented group of players. We paid over the odds for new recruits and if anything our squad is worse than that of 2014/15.
Just for the record, if the board sacked AN, or he left of his own accord, I would not be disappointed, but realisically, if I call Delia and the board names and beseech AN to foxtrot oscar, it will have no effect whatsoever except to raise my blood pressure
excuses excuses excuses its boring and very tiring, the fact is we do not have a 'team' and they can all say what ever they want, the manager just does not know how to organise the players hes got at disposal, its more luck than judgement when we do manage to find a winning formula only to be hit by injuries or red cards, hes had more money than any previous manager to buy players and made so many poor decisions, yes the players need to take some responsibility but ultimately the manager is calling the shots, there is only one solution imo
I fully expect the same 11 to start on Tuesday and AN will say, "I wanted to give the players who failed so badly against Wendies the chance to redeem themselves!!! #groundhogday
The 5th of Paddy's '5 Pointers' after today's shambles - "5. Where do Norwich go from here? - Well, Bristol, in the literal sense. The first of a series of frankly meaningless contests between now and the end of the Championship campaign. Or are they? Neil spoke about the need for transition on Friday. Alex Tettey was candid enough to admit time was running out for him and perhaps some of the other older guard. City have a core of young, hungry alternatives. If Neil intends to stick around, and more to the point the board intend to remain steadfast in their support of the Scot, then the thirst for change on the terraces must come on the pitch rather than the dugout. The tried and trusted will just not cut it." So come on AN - NOW is the time to give the youff a chance. Martin and co have proved time and time again that they REALLY are past it!!!!!
Watching Borrusia Monchengladbach tear Shalke apart in Bundesliga on BTsport. Awesome fecking football a world apart from what we have to witness every bloody week!
I thought he joined in Jan 2015 - so just a mere eight (8 ) years of 5 - 0s followed by 0 - 5s, and going nowhere as a result
CamJam: "We'll keep fighting, we'll keep going to the end. We owe it to ourselves, we owe it the fans, we owe it to the club." I must have blinked and missed that they had been fighting to this point!
I know what Dave is saying about expectations. I personally don't think our expectations are outlandish. We have just come down from the Premiership with all those many many millions, kept hold of most of our "Key" players. We shouldn't keep getting walked over 5-1. We should be able to win an away game. Often. With our resources we should be right up in the top 6 of this league at least! But!! How about this, as a comment on the BBC website from a Leicester fan: "We will never forget the amazing achievements of Leicester with Ranieri as the Manager. However, we would gratefully accept a couple of "boring" years of 8th to 12th in the Premier League and maybe a good cup run. No more rollercoaster rides please, I can't stomach it!" 8th to 12th?!?! Really!? You were one of the favorites to get relegated last season and won the league! Bellow 12th this season, in the Premiership is a travesty!? I'd give him a Dave:
What the ****? So £30k a week isn't enough to get the players motivated?! Damn straight you owe it to us. I feel for AN a little. Ok he has messed up a few times but when you watch your players step over the white line and churn that **** out it must be hard to take. WE NEED A PROPER DEFENCE. I can see it, my friends can see it, my 8 year old son can see it. Why can't AN and the club?
Why isn't anything happening!?! I can't fathom it out. We might as well just say we need to score 3 goals a game to draw.
At the moment, the only worry of losing players I have is the Murphy twins, Maddison, and Howson. Maybe Wes, because he's a club legend.
