In truth its a bit of a risk - so yes . First run of the season so will definitely improve. However it ran well behind a smart sort on reappearance last year, and the trainer always thought it would make a better 4yr old. Its a big horse so will have strengthened up. On the flipside the bigger the horse, it often takes them longer to get race fit. He has booked a top claimer to get a bit weight off. Zealous ran well on its reappearance and has a fitness edge. I just think it ran in some really nice races last year and it may be the last time you see it in a class 4. Just checked and 9/1 - looks a big price. I also think Delphyne is a big price at 12/1 in the 5.25 at Redcar. All the above sounds really good but horse racing is a mugs game. However if it sees you lose some money then it couldn't happen to a nicer ****.
I might throw a few quid on it. I'm determined to make them pay something out. It's got **** all to do with the money and just me getting a bee in my bonnet about small print and misleading offers. I know it's massively unlikely that there will be anything left in the pot by the time I've placed £240 of bets, but being a **** I have to try
Jimi is our resident expert on the golf. You're a coach aren't you Jimi? Good luck helping Nev out though. He'd probably take it up, be really enthusiastic, show a real aptitude for the game, and then just suddenly quit...
If you want a dead cert why dont you bet on yourself not updating the Prediction League. Poor odds but guaranteed banker.
Semi retired on the coaching front to focus on other business interests. I still do a bit with long standing clients, that said if Nev crossed my palm with silver I'm sure I could get him producing a better quality top.
Poor performance on the pitch and by all accounts off it as well. I could have sworn it is the responsibility of the Captain to take the Mascot onto the pitch as the teams come out. Alas, Jamaal didn't just forget how to defend on Saturday, he forget our young mascot, who came out on his own after the Team. The young'un still had a good day, but poor form by Jamaal.
