Our lass is dyslexic and comes out with the most outrageous unintentional 'spoonerisms' which are hilarious. She'll want to say a 'a block of flats' and it comes out as 'a flock of bats' I'd never correct her, or anyone else, in person so I wouldn't do it on here. Forums are supposed to be what people say, off the cuff, and continually correcting people interrupts the flow of conversation. You'd never correct someone's grammar during a pre-match pint would you? I'll guarantee there's no one, on this board, who I couldn't correct if I felt inclined.
Absolutely mate, we all **** up some times. I sometimes see my spelling and cringe, generally when I've posted after a drink, it don't matter if we know what is meant does it?
Who knows why people feel the need to do things? Some on here respond by calling people ****s, twats, ****ers etc.. Some annoy people by coming out with god damn awful corny jokes..... Some threaten violence and threaten to punch peoples lights out... The point I'm making is that behind all the comments made is a real person who has real life issues that we may or may not be privy to.. I have met a hell of a lot of people from this forum in person, and most have been totally different to the mental profile that I had built up in my head.. All I'm saying we should not always judge people until you look them in the eye and meet them in person..
My spelling doesn't go belly up when I've been drinking. Just don't try and make sense of what I say! It'll be just gibberish!
