Sorry if I responded too strong, no animosity from me, it was my initial post was a serious reply to the OP and I had been looking forward to going to the game (my first of the season btw ) as I don't often get to away games now. I go to the majority of home games but have stopped my season ticket as I can't get to many of the (TV initiated) moved games due to family commitments. Anyway and heres to more success for our enigmatic team (and Mariners for you )
I didn't expect any animosity from you, Wandy, or from anybody else actually . . . . because I made an honest mistake and apologised for it. Thank you for accepting my apology like a gentleman
That's two grammar based clashes on here in the last couple of days. The entire lot of us need to be sent back to school.
After a Friday on the drink I'm always amazed at how good my speeling is when I check on a Saturday mawning
Aye but it's meant to teach people the social skills of how to exist in the same environment without ****ting themselves over meaningless **** like grammar. Wasn't being literal chief, I was messing around. I couldn't give a **** about spelling, grammar or dyslexia. If words are understandable they're perfectly adequate English.
I always think the kind of folk who pick up in people's spelling and grammar on a forum are the biggest kind of ****ing arsehole. It's not an exam, we have different levels of intelligence and as pointed out posters with dyslexia. Who gives a **** about spelling in this scenario? We are here to talk football and banter not the finer points of the queens. I would have issues with spelling and grammar in an important place, work emails to customers etc, but is a forum. It's pompous as ****, we don't all know the person on the other side and one is not better than the other as they have better spelling. It's a football forum.
