<steam>Just noticed that Newcastle v Arsenal are on Setanta sports on the 5th Feb!!

I used to pay every month to have Setanta until they went BUST!!

I now pay for ESPN incase any of the matches are on that.

PLEASE someone explain to me how the match is on SETANTA SPORTS 1.

They're still alive and kicking everywhere else in the world (Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and Africa).
I don't know which channel is worse - Setanta or ESPN!
I remember paying to watch us play FC Basel in the UEFA Cup a few years back on Setanta and thought it was an awful channel then & was really surprised when they got the rights to some Premier League games!

Setanta was dreadful, and ESPN isnt any better. Both a pile of ****.

It does give those who live too far away to get to see matches though.

Nothing but nothing can be worse that when channel 5 used to show the football.

Setanta was pretty poor but I think ESPN is even worse, they've somehow managed to Americanise football coverage. The fact they've got the rights to the FA Cup with ITV is one of the reasons I'm not really into the FA Cup this year, along with a certain match that took place in Hertfordshire a few weeks ago of course.

Aye definitely agree about the Amercanising of it all, they even try and get interviews with the manager during the game- ridiculous!
