Forgive me lads if someone's done one of these and i missed it, but i just wanted to reflect on the lads performance yesterday.

Cruyff turns, running past people as if they weren't there, ball retention, decent passing, a few decent tackles and an incredible burst of pace.

I thnk our biggest idol since a certain K.Phillips and N.Quinn led the line has arrived in town.

He's going to be a sensation.

Did you see in the first few minutes where he absolutelyslaughtered Shawcross with a high speed pirouette and ended up getting flattened for his troubles?

He riminds me a lot of Jay Jay Ococha, he wasn't a bad player was he.

We're starting to add class to the team now, bit of a knacker that we've shelled 8 goals in 3 games though!

Speds next, and i say get the lad running at Essou Ekoto, the weak link, or if Gallas is playing , target him.

I like the fact he took a bit of a hammering of the Stoke players but just got up and got on with it, no dramas at all.

    Fantastic talent we have there.

I was worried about our view of him being based on YouTube, where you can make anyone look brilliant.

Luckily for us YouTube didn't do him justice. <ok>

Another thing I like is, you can see him looking up, whilst carrying the ball.
Not just running flat out head down to wack the ball into no mans land. (Sorry Ricco :) )

He just looks fantastic, and something we've never had and always wanted.

I can't wait to see him fully settled in, he will terrorise people.

    £6million? Bravo, Brucey, Bravo.

He makes £8million received for Kenwyne look like billions!

Early doors like, butnatural talent is natural talent!

There were 4 of us at mine watching it mate, that turn was our half time topic, if Shawcross hadn't nailed him he had 10yards to the edge of the box, it was football porn.

I love this boy already, my excitement for him signing feels justified already, and he's not match sharp yet!

    I agree vince.

Catts leaves a massive hole, no question about that, and Muntari struggled yesterday, although he's certain to improve as he gets games under his belt.

7 goals conceded in 2 games is a worry, with Spurs next week as well.

So glad he was having issues with PSG because he would have been a loan signing and would have probably just used us to showcase his abillity to move on (not slating his character, its just what players do, he has no affinity with us yet) because he is a Europa, and up, player. The fact that PSG gave us the option to buy or no deal has played into our hands fantastically. This is a no lose situation.......... even if he doesnt set the world alight we will sell him at a tidy profit. Saying that, provided he settles in the area and with his team mates I can see us having a truly amazing play on our hands. I was at the Chelsea match and he had 3 chances to thread a ball and he created a dangerous situation everytime. Looking forward to seeing him after a good pre-season, knowing his teammates a bit better, speaking a bit of English, and fighting for the fans who will love him.

I also agree that it is nice to see that he doesnt roll around like a fairy when he gets hit (that will go down very well with Sunderland fans) and I am very glad to see he isnt affraid to put in a strong challenge. Nani is a similar 'hollow bones' type of player but how often does he get gritty? Noty very often.

Sunderland fans will forgive anything if you graft, if you graft and have a bit of magic you will be loved.
