You're spot on, the three that started last night just couldn't command the mid-field, we didn't have the mobility or attacking threat from that midfield 3 of Gibson, Scholes and Fletcher.

Scholes is obviousely still a class act, but you need someone who can run around a lot to pair with him. Anderson and Carrick are imo our best CM pairing at the moment. At least Fegrie got the subs right, I just don't know why he staterd Gibson with Scholes and Fletcher, the three just don't compliment each other.
