Really? That's ridiculous. With MM, we will never be relegated. I think we'll all be surprised next season, I think we could have another where we punch above our weight, and I have a feeling that we'll get 4 or 5 decent signings

Whilst I am not as optimistic as Stretchy I don't think we will be in real danger of being relegated.MM's dogged approach will see us boringly grind out enough points to keep our heads above water but it will be at the wrong end of the table again.

I would rather us be relegated then suffer another dull and drab season of struggle again! At least we would have the chance to rebuild.

With Marcus at the helm, relegation would be the death of ITFC.
It's probably where we're headed though, our investment levels are that of a league one club!

I strongly believe it will be the same **** recycled from the last few seasons and the fans will be expected to be grateful and pay more for the privilege of being fed false truths and outright lies.

That's how it is now Weighty, and has been for some time, as you rightly say.
    Bullshit from the club constantly.

Amen. Absolutely zero chance we'd go down under Mick, like Pulis / Big Sam and others it is at times a case of be very careful what you wish for.

Mick or no Mick, we need some form of reasonable investment this summer. I don't mean £10 mill plus on transfers ( people never seem to factor in wages, signing on fees, agent fees, bonuses and everything else of a transfer but there we go ) I'd be relatively happy with a summer along the lines of -

    * Three free transfers, one a gamble of a player ala and two players who are decent, maybe Marley Watkins et el whose contracts have expired.
    * Three transfer fees paid this time around, and perhaps slightly more than last summer should the need arise. I feel we DO need a striker for £1,5 mill or so, maybe slightly higher if the real deal. Very goal shy last term.
    * Two full season loanees. I honestly don't mind loanees IF they add much needed class. Fraser / Lawrence players we aren't going to sign without them arriving on loan. Sad state of the game, too much ££££ in the prem and the clubs having a bucket load of players that SHOULD be playing week in / week out at this level on mega ££££ in reserve games. RIP footy as we once knew.

Big summer ahead I feel. We appear 21st favs on oddschecker - long as 100-1 with Paddy to win it and the worst I can honestly ever recall us being rated by the bookies going into a season. Over to you Mick and Evans...........

Yeah and I bet a whole load of Wolves fans were thinking the very same thing!!! <doh> He didn't get the chance to be relegated with them because he was sacked when the die was cast! <ok> I think there are some on here who need a big reality check!

Weve missed the first of our Summer "targets " as Watkins has gone to our friends up the road, the sticking point was wages apparently, he wanted sherbet as well as dolly mixtures the greedy bastard.
We know more than £25M has come into the Club over the last few years via transfer fees, but can anyone remember when we last bought a quality player with these proceeds? because I cant. No wonder we are struggling.

We spent 10,000 on a forest green reserve. What more do we want?

Very good point. I think Leadbitter was poorly used by us due to Norris and could have been the bit of quality - bar his " set pieces ". Otherwise -
    * Martin - NO * Priskin? NO! Many others? Oh boy we've wasted £££.

We've used smaller fees quite well however - Walters / Sears.

I cant argue with the Walters / Sears example Westy but Christ the wasted time and money on second rate players, and the downright lies from the Club regarding wages, transfer targets, etc which resulted in nobody of any undoubted quality signing is very disheartening.

Yep we've wasted money but we've also wasted talent through poor management.

At the moment we don't seem to have the money to compete. However we actually have a better squad than we did 2 years ago, Mick just isn't able to use tactics to get the best out of them or our talented youngsters coming through!!
