Second best player to play in top flight

If this was a most likeable football player thread , Giggs wouldn't make the top 1 % stupid . But it isn't ....It's like teaching a lab rat to feed himself with ginger at times .

Can only go with players I saw live.

Cantona will always be my favourite player. I just love that man. He was majestic to watch but even I would have to admit that he wasn't the best player around. Bergkamp was better but lacked balls.

Keane and Robson were ridiculously good in that they could do everything. Keane slightly better than Robson.

Scholes was just a genius. He could've played in that Barca team.

Henry got to a point where he was unplayable at times.

Shearer, as an ex-striker myself, was a machine. I liked watching Wright but Shearer was the master goal scorer.

But the best player I've seen live is Cristiano Ronaldo. He was unbelievable.
