As I said in another thread. Certainly an Arsenal type player.....hasn't managed more than 25 games a season, in his last 5 seasons, constantly injured and has a dodgy cruciate ligament to boot.... Should fit right in
Good that we've got the signing sorted nice and quickly. Hopefully he's good enough! Now to get in some offensive players...
In the first FIVE games of the season the Chelsea (!) loanee Abdul-Rahman Bab played 4 times and Kolasinac 1 time. 34 games in bundesliga. So he played 25 out of 30 games. Not too bad for an injure prone player I would say.
Bundesliga Team of the Season 2016/2017: Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich) - Sead Kolasinac (Schalke), Mats Hummels (Bayern), Niklas Süle (Hoffenheim), Lukas Piszczek (Borussia Dortmund) - Emil Forsberg (RB Leipzig), Thiago Alcantara (Bayern), Naby Keita (Leipzig), Ousmane Dembele (Dortmund) - Robert Lewandowski (Bayern), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Dortmund)
Interestingly he started out a DMF and always fancied himself as a CB. It wasn't until Schalke went to a 351 that he discovered his potential as a wing back that his career took off. Almost certainly means Wenger is looking to continue the same formation next Season.
Wenger & his staff are doing a bad job of managing Wilshere while he is at Bournemouth. **** you Wenger!
So it's Howe's fault rather than Wenger's that Wilshere has been mediocre and made no progress since 2010?
