He needs to follow up on some of the theory. It's great having all the stuff from the coaching book and use it is their GK coaching business, but he needs to deliver it on the pitch...Roar like a Lion? more like squeak like a mouse...big opposition strikers scare him to death

Good post SDG - but Loach needs to concentrate on getting his form back not doing interviews.

In recent weeks it has looked as though Loach and his defenders speak a different language. Whether he comes out or stays where he is seems to be a fairly random choice, depending little on the circumstances in front of him.

"Treading on the toes of the opposition is one of many tactics used by goalkeepers to put them off." Surely not. Scotty is clearly a fine upstanding sportsman and an example to us all. how can we deal with this disappointment.........???????????

Standard stuff - I used to do that simply to get in first! My personal favourite was leading with the knee when going for a high ball - especially when it connected.

Needs to open his gob and realise that the area is his. Everything that goes on in that box is down to him, boss it.

Don't really know why people bash Loach, sure he makes errors but given our circumstances who do you expect in goal, van der sar?

Watfrodftw - I don't think we are ssaying he is a bad keeper - just that he has not had a good season and needs to get his form back - I have often noticed in the past though young keepers that have a "bad" season - but then come back all the better - he needs to remember to practice the basics
