    Anyone else notice he was an unused sub?
    To bench their top scorer suggests they are protecting their asset for sale.
    Looks like a few clubs have had bids knocked back (smaller ones) but part of me thinks that we may have a genuine chance to go for this lad if we were prepared to stump up £10m.
    With Gayle's injury our needs just got greater......

    Surely going to West Ham or Everton though? Can't see him turning down the Prem for us.

    It depends on what the clubs have really bid. West Ham have been taking the general piss this window with daft bids don't forget.
    Also... there have been players who do well at Championship level and fail at Prem level (Rhodes, Bamford etc....) so maybe he wants a medal this season and to see how he develops under Rafa...
