Sitting next to him on way to Manchester. He is with three others speaking freely. Some interesting points: - Had choice of 3000 or 1500 tickets for Man City, went for max but only sold 2000 so cost us £20k, put down to third trip in three years - Forestieri deal has been signed with Wednesday whilst on train - Fenerbache interested in Vydra but pretty sure he said we want £10m to sell otherwise sounded like staying - we are very interested in Borini and that depended on inter not taking him and sounds like they are not so... - also Markovic if he doesn't go to Fenerbache - Deeney and Ighalo both expected to start today
Its on other media sites about Fenerbache being apparently interestd in Vydra but looking at their recent striker options added he probsbly would be limited to game time there anyhow. Borini rumours persisting, not sure about Markovic as that seems a little remote.
Sorry guys this is me using an old and I thought long forgotten username. I had to set up as theghost when I couldn't remember this one but I never use my phone for this site and apparently it has just logged me on under this name. Got a bit carried away as I don't usually find myself learning anything interesting!! All sounded convincing and he was with that fillippo chap - name anyone? Wait and see I guess.
#WatfordFC please log in to view this image have, just now, confirmed Fernando Forestieri has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent basis.
No I've looked it up since and it was our chief scout fillipo giraldi and I think another one was Miles Jacobsen from the sponsors. Duxbury expects to be at the training ground until the end of the transfer window or later on Tuesday so we intend to do some business but we know that. He was mildly annoyed that Pudil announced he was leaving himself and that he said goodbye when he is only on loan. He also said Gino Pozzo texts him all the time for updates on transfers but that is not a surprise!
Oh and equally unsurprising sounded a bit like we don't want Paredes to stay (at this point I was having to lean suspiciously close as the train got noisy). They also had a discussion about Britos's recent history of red cards but not sure what the conclusion was - I think maybe just a sigh of resignation.
