The only ****s keeping Scotland down is the Scotch Government and their disastrous 10 year tenure which has seen Scotland's deficit sky rocket, NHS under perform vs rUK despite getting 10% more funding via Barnett, and education standards plummet.

Anyone who still votes for SNP after examining their record in Government is either hard of thinking or a self-loathing paedophile.

There's nothing to stop you using the rUK £ or having your own currency pinned to the rUK £, there are a few countries in the world that use/have theirs pinned to the US $:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Currency_substitution

Long term you'd need to unpin your own currency as you may end up as the Greece to our Germany or visa versa <yikes>

It doesn't, expect the rUK would have to pass a whole load of bills to define the new UK, some of which would involve adopting a currency (let's call it the new pound sterling with the symbol £ valued at 1:1 with the old pound sterling), a state bank and all that ****.

Who's picture for each note would you choose?

£5 Wee Jimmy Krankie doing a double thumbs up.

    £10 Taggart feeling a Collar.

£20 Rod Stewart during his bog brush hair do phase.

£50 (not often seen, let's be honest) Gordon Strachan in meltdown mode.
