nice to have a Saturday off or bored ****less?? Nice for me as I don't have the pressure of constructing an in depth match thread. Gonna get in the garden and sort it out then got some work to do on the computer. Gonna be a lovely day what you up to???
Catch up with some old pals around the pubs of Sandbach. Lady Cheshire picking them up from the train station at 2 & dropping us in town, after that we're on our own.
You ****. I spat tea on my keyboard at that. Shopping for a mothers day pressie for me mam. Tidy garden, mow lawn, sort edging for borders out, carry on working on the missus to let me have a wooden arbour in the garden I've got me eye on, finish getting my Death Knight through Suramar. Yeah, it's lovely outside here too.
Some work emails to catch up on which will go 'bin, bin, bin, bin, ****, bin, bin, **** it I need to do something about that, bin, bin, ****, bin, bin etc.' Walk dog - looking like a nice day here too. Missus is on a works afternoon sess from 2 o'clock so I'll probably have to go and bail her out early evening. Need to sort out her pension transfer for her new job, sort out some hire cars for upcoming trips. Washing needs doing. New curtain rail needs putting up. Need to go to Ikea cos I'm a bracket short. (Careful now) Daughter came round on Thursday and blithely mentioned that a little orange oilcan had appeared on her dashboard and she didn't know why. I poured a litre of oil into her engine and it didn't even wet the end of the dipstick. I suppose I need to sort that out. Kinell. This is worse that working. Hay ho, at least City can't lose.
Laptop, hotel bookings, work, it catches us all ... Climbing wall with grandsons Chill with Fezess Peek on here to see if Happy has ripped Spook a new one
I'm gardening all day as well. Just had me soffits and fascias replaced this week - is there a less sexy way to spend £4K? - and they've made a right mess of me garden. The bastards.
a) if you haven't bought your Mother a gift yet you are a bad son. FACT (it does count that I merely picked something up that Mrs Tash had picked out and ordered doesn't it?!) b) What / Where the **** is Suramar...or have I been whooshed and it's a new euphemism? (If it is then good on you)
Got the mrs a gin selection box and a mojito maker kit, she's not even my mam. Lazy bloody kids. Though she has just brought in a pack of hot x buns. Why only one pack were my first words...
Best ask an elf, Den. You'll get no sense out of the igeranent buggars on here in answer to that one.
What will you be sailing in you garden? Talking of mother's day, Google photos sends an email, with photos from this day in previous years. Five years ago today I took the last photo I snapped of my mother. She looked sprightly for a 90 year old. Not long after she had a stroke and slowly faded away, a painful thing to watch. Make the most of them while you have the chance.
*Your No silly, it's a wooden garden building with a roof and seats and will fit lovely in the corner of the garden. It's this one actually, although not buying it from this site: https://www.onegarden.co.uk/arbours...RvPunSx0j4McT9ed_4G6O-x5XuQRPhy98QaAr-D8P8HAQ
Buying it on the day, I'd agree. Buying today is forward planning in my view. Suramar? If you know, you know. Not whooshing you btw. Stand easy.
Careful, pointing out errors can get you locked off a thread if Lambo is feeling arsey He doesn't lock idiots like Spook. Incidentally, enjoying your demolitions of his nonsense. Reminds me of the old quote- "Daddy, when I grow up I want to be an anarchist." "You'll have to make your mind up son. You can't do both."
I still need to make purchases for the wife, Mum was sorted via Tinternet. I was planning on nipping out in a bit, before the pre-mentioned piss up to sort summat (flowers from Waitrose & a card) but she just announced she's working in morning 'til 11. Go now or go in the morning when she's at work?
Flowers'll be cheaper in the morning. She'd want you to be thrifty too. Nothing can go wrong with this at all. Let us know how it goes. I don't buy for my missus, she's not my mother. I don't think she realises that sometimes, but I refuse to budge on it.
He's fine with me pointing out your errors. I feel a little sorry for Spook tbh, he's just trying to find his path in life, and it's difficult when you're so immature and inexperienced. I also feel a little guilty because it's so easy to mock him, seems unsporting.
