Not saying he is weak particularly, but he does not have the physicality to play a lone striker role.
Not like Henry, or players like Drogba and Costa, they are all bullish and henched.
Sanchez is a great player but he is not built for that imo.

I agree. Whilst he is physically strong, he's not built for the CF role. His best position is as a wide man cutting in. That's where we should play him.

Liverpool are trying to flog a striker.

    Mario something......
You'd probably be able to get him quite cheap too :p

Crazy really that a few years ago Balotelli was Europe's hottest prospect. From Hero to Zero in a few seasons.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Wenger was the one manager who could get the best out of Mario.

Liverpool was his last chance to make it in the PL and he blew it.

Well Wenger likes a bargain, and Pool are desperate to be rid of the guy.

The big problem is that while Sanchez is strong and good in the air for a small guy if play him at CF he doesn't stick to the CF position and drifts to the left or goes looking for the ball, and if not we have Theo - either way we have an attack made up of Theo, Sanchez, Oxo and Santi/Ozil - pretty much a dream for any tall/physical CBs as they will just sweep up any balls into the box against that lot!

Exactly, all those guys are short arses, don't think any of them are over 6ft.

I feel that a new striker was planned and now Wenger is in panic mode. I think that Sanchez could be a good striker but needed a long run as striker and pre season practice in the cf position.

Sanchez is one of the top wingers in the world. Why would you deprive your team of his talents on the wing to try shoehorn him into a CF role?! Makes not a lick of god damned sense.
Wenger just needs to buy a ****ing striker! You don't always have to spend £70m to get a decent striker. Batshuayi has scored 3 goals in 3 games for us so far (2 of them games as a sub) and he only cost £30m, Costa only cost £30m too, United got Ibrahimovic for **** all. Your manager is on drugs.

He's always been **** and I called that before we bought him I was horrified that the rumour was real.

I think we would probably offer Balo and some up front money for them to take him.

He was good for City, but always a bit lazy.

Balotelli is one of those roll the dice players, you never quite know what you're going to get from him. Could be great or could be dreadful, i don't think i've come across a player that can go from two such extremes. He could be better than anything we have, or be worst than Sanogoals...

Why not. Wenger got a good record of disruptive players and doing well with them. Could he make him into another Anelka or will be the next Jeffers. To be honest i don't see any strikers coming in this window so i'd rather have someone rather than none at all, even if it's the unpredictable Balotelli.

Either way the pay as you play is minimal risk.
