I can never understand why Højbjerg is such a difficult name to spell.

Its obviously a joke, a personal one. Harks back to my dads best friend who sadly passed away 2 years ago. Ages ago I failed to pronounce a foreign surname correcly, and he kept correcting me. So then it became an in joke, mildly amusing to the both of us.

It is harder for english people to splell because it has a silent J, which we don't generally use. (correct me if I'm wrong).

There's only 6 games tonight compared to last night's 19.....and it cannot be alphabetical because Watford played at home last night.

Presume it must be Saints/Wolves choice, but would seem odd ot give ourselves one less day's preparation for Huddersfield on Saturday

You never seem to miss the silent "L" in splell, though.

But we do get an extra day's recovery :) Harder on Wolves as they and their fans have a long trip for an evening match to recover from.

Macca on front of tonight's programme. A clue perhaps....though JWP was on the front of Saturday's programme and he didn't start. Quite likely though....with Fraser on the bench.

Trivia factoid: Saganowski also played for Saints during the Liebherr era.

Yeah, you could have knocked me down with a feather too. A few years back I went through the Saints archive of matches [when they were still available on the OS] and saw Saganowski in a Liebherr era lineup.
If you want another shock, Grzegorz Rasiak also played in a Liebherr era game alongside Rickie Lambert. Where's that feather.?

Saw an article 'have teams devalued the league cup' on BBC. I would say not, unless you're pochettino and playing sunderland away!!

I hope it doesn't happen, however should we lose with a changed side, there will be a mini meltdown.
