Not 100% sure mate. I don't even know if I'll definitely make it as I'm going with my sister, but would like to know where people are meeting up if I can convince her to pop along. I think we're going to go to the Prince of Wales just before the game for 1/2 as it's right next door so can leave about 10 past. No idea where we're heading before that though.
Yes it doesn't quite have the same appeal at face value! I need the ticket now anyway so best there was no interest.
As the wonderfully erudite Guy Garvey said recently, "There are very few problems that whisky can't cure". The worse we lose the more I drink. Being a Saints fan can be hard at times!
I know where you are coming from there. One tiny advantage about getting older though... You can't do the amount of intake. So it's cheaper.
Just finished watching Split starring James McAvoy. Quite interesting. He plays 23 characters in one person, hence the 'split' personality, though you only see about 6 or so of them. And of course, being an M.Night Shylaman film, not all of them are particularly nice. It's had a mixed bag of reviews, some finding it a good film experience, some finding it a bit too bewildering to maintain the interest. I think it's alright. It kept me interested without shattering me with suspense and horror. It reminds me of a Kubrick film at times, and that's no bad thing. Hence it's more cerebral than visceral, and that makes a change from many films from any genre. The story is simple yet convoluted. There's little shriek factor, and only is it the slightest bit grisly, unless you let your imagination run wild, but I'm not going to reveal any of the plot to start that off. It is most certainly not for everybody, being a psychological thriller cum horror film. I generally don't like horror films myself, but a bit of thought went into this one and McAvoy acts his role pretty well in it. I'll just say I recommend it and leave it at that. Oops, wrong thread. copied to MMM.
As Jack Benny, when about my age now, said of smoking .. "So what's going to happen? I'm going to die young?" I'm 75 for goodness sake. Allow me my indulgences. I don't want my last drinking sessions to be Ovaltine with a straw. My doc did a liver test recently as part of an MOT. Said it was fine. I worry about the technology. I have also suggested to my family that, for H&S reasons, cremation is not the way for me to go! Anyway it is under control. I never drink on a day with a "y" in it. EDIT: Fran has pointed out my impending senility. Last sentence should read "only" not "never". I stick pins in effigies of people who are too clever by half every day!
Caceres to start? Risky playing him with Stephens at any point really, but Yoshida might need a rest.
Providing he's not snap chatting some 15 year old, we will most certainly be seeing him in the coming days. Rotation is back, and its angry about being dropped.
Indeed. Yoshi might not be loud, but he's going to be more of a calming influence than Marty. Four points from the next three games, I'd take that right now.
