I take your point, but we tend to go very quiet when injuries are worse than first thought. Done it with McCarthy, Virgil & Austin so far this season.
Nothing to say but its a matchday thread so YAY !!! Mrs S says nothing cos she's at work but if she was here I'm sure she would say YAY!!! too
This is going to be the biggest win of the season for us. The only fly in the ointment of the lay off is that there have been so many Saints players away on international duty but I can't see Bournemouth getting anything other than a tonking on this one. We haven't really smashed any team yet this season and I just think that Bournemouth will be than team who come away with a hammering.
I was struggling to remember our last home game ............ then I did We definitely need to put that one to bed. Come Saints, let's get back on the winning horse again. Ps. Still shaking my head at Jan 8x games, Feb 3x & Mar 2x ! I think their (FA / PL) computer needs upgrading.
That wasn't his job when I knew him. He was a laser physicist turned computer programmer. He's now a priest in a very extreme section of the Catholic church, a part that rejected the second Vatican council so still says the Tridentine mass in Latin - it doesn't report to local bishops but straight to the Vatican. Interesting chap. Vin
Really want a win from this one, had enough of good performances resulting in unlucky losses. lets get the points!
I had to go back and check that myself. Then I thought, Oh, I managed to miss that one. Then I remembered that I was in fact there but had erased it from my memory. Bollocks.
My head insists I wasn't there, but my Trainline account and season ticket do not lie. Was a bleedin' 'orrible afternoon, weren't it?
It was bad. Started off perfectly as I recall. Then somehow Andy Carroll was let through on goal. All a blur after that.
