As for the "bitching" comment, I stand by it. It might be you expressing your view which your entitled to, but when I see it happen over and over, and always when a player leaves or we don't spend to the level people want, I still see it as bitching, or moaning, if you prefer a less offensive word. That's me expressing my view.

Not sure what Les's ability as a first team coach has to do with his ability to negotiate transfer deals tbh.

Yeah, i mean it's not like we got ~67million in transfer fees this season, and only spent around 40 of it...plus the massive 100mil TV deal

Indeed, if it was a choice between one or the other. But there is some middle ground.

They will come down in price. A player whose contract is running down and is not playing does not increase in value.

I do agree and I wasn't saying otherwise. I am generally happy with how we are run considering the investment available.

 

We sell players and then buy players with about half to 3/4 the money. The rest covers the wages for the player for how long a contract he signs. We haven't got the 100m yet, you don't get it in a lump sum.

 

I heard that United still owed us some money on Morgan...if so, will they carry on payments as planned or cough up now they have shipped Morgan. Unless the rest of what is owed is based on appearances and therefore cancelled.
