    Sounds promising! I think it will be a big boost for the team to get a signing over the line, addressing the issue of a lack of firepower in the process. Seems like yesterday we were buying a player from Bristol Rovers and now we are heavily linked with one from Napoli. If he scores half as many as RL then I'll be happy. I wonder if he has any connection with Pelle who could put in a good word or two :cheesy:

    I think we are tryijg to get Fonte out, and then we will announce signings and hopefully a couple of contract extensions. My hope.

    Sure "sky sources" said the asking fee was £17m when west brom made an approach ........maybe the fee includes add ons.

    I'm not remotely fussed if the fee is £13m or £17m. The only thing that makes that interesting really is the latter makes him out record signing.

    I just want him to sign.

    I heard they wanted £20m at the start of the window. They are quite desperate to sell him it seems and are just lowering their inflated asking price until someone is willing to pay it. We should get used to this as foreign clubs will try and charge english clubs a premium because they know we have the money.

    I may be wrong, but i think 17m euros was quoted - about £15m?
    (sorry American Apple Mac...no euro symbol & can't be bothered to work out the key combo to get it. Though it would have been quicker than explaining :) )
