    Just heard that former City centre half Paul Went has passed away. Top bloke he was. RIP.

    Sad news and only 67. Bit too close for comfort for some, i.e. me!!!

    Can't find anything to say how he died.

    Sad news indeed. Not an old man.

    One of my heroes during my days on the bob bank. No quarter asked and no quarter given. Him and Joe Dwyer were a formidable pair.

    thats sad news indeed, can remember him at the club in the 70's only with us for a short while though.

    If I remember right he scored a own goal on his debut.

    Become a fans favorite though, took over from Don Murray who was a hard act to follow.
