Immigrant dad...the North is where all the Industry was...made sense to him....I'm glad...the Pennines are beautiful
I promise you I'm no fan of the south! Where does the Spurs thing fit in? Obviously you're not a glory hunter.
When my dad landed back in 1964, Tottenham was his destination...stayed there till he learned the ropes then moved up North. I wasn't born into a footballing family....made my choice at the age of 7...my brother went for Liverpool, glory hunter, twat, ****.
Indeed it is but Sky loves there and he's a ****, plus it's always raining. Anyone would think it's in Wales!
Ever been to Basingstoke? I'm not convinced it actually exists, beyond the endless ring roads, trading estates and roundabouts
Sorry mate. Stoke on Trent is far, far worse than Birmingham (which is at least a proper city, with things going on and stuff). Tunstall is the absolute arse end of the universe, & the neighbouring ****ty slum towns are the nearest England gets to post industrial Soviet ghost towns. Actually, close the thread - Stoke wins (& you don't hear that very often).
