Get well soon Ryan, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Glad to hear the latest news appears to more upbeat.
I don't think studs are particularly dangerous. Might cause a bit of pain but no real harm generally. The issue with those rash tackles is more about the amount of force with a grown man's momentum flying into someone's outstretched leg. Never really understood the term 'studs up'. How can you possibly slide tackle without your studs showing?
There's some really decent messages on Twitter from other players and fans of other clubs. Heart warming.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38718324 Apologies if anyone has already posted this link...Sounds as if he is at least able to communicate...Good sign...Stay strong Ryan
I don't need to. I don't write the ****ing rules for the FA. I've contradicted nowt. In fact, I've said Cahill fouled Mason. Blame the standard of refs and the rulebook, not Cahill.
Fantastic news that he's awake and talking. He's got an incentive now to get out of hospital and back home asap. John Terry promised to keep an eye on his missus.
thought applause was reserved for death............. arent we being a little presumptuous? cant applaud an injury.
You can applaud anything you like, Spurs fans applauded Muamba, Burnley fans did the same with Carlisle, it's just a public show of support.
Singing "One Ryan Mason, there's only one Ryan Mason..." on the 25th minute would be more appropriate, perhaps.
When you think of the old days when the trainer would have come on and just put a cold, wet sponge to a poor player's head.
Building 7 will probably claim soon that Cahill only visited him in an attempt to 'finish the job'. Good to hear he's awake and talking. Get well Ryan.
