I have been reading elsewhere about Brunt and the consensus seems to be that any first team action this season would be a bonus.....being ready for next season 2017/18 is surely the commonsense aim.

With Adams showing interest, so we are led to believe ,in the Cardiff lad on loan at present with Newport.....a striker seems to be up the top of the new year wish list for PAFC.

Losing Spencer was a big loss. Not surprised he is looking because Goodwillie isn't his answer. Not sure we could rely on the kids all of the time either. I'm not counting on Brunt at all. If he's fit and ready whenever then that's a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

There's a pic om Twitter today of Ryan Brunt running on grass for the 1st time. Bit like a wild animal released into its natural habitat.....

Setback last week: Plymouth Herald - Ryan Brunt

Another 6 weeks on the side-lines plus regaining fitness levels so hopefully he will be back near-ready to play from end of March.

Don't think we will see much of him on the pitch this season to be honest. We won't have time to bed anyone in again by the end of March and it would bound to take a few games at least to do that.

Well perhaps if we can seal promotion before the end of the season he might be given a couple of games run-out.

I am feeling more confident about our forward line at the moment.
