Spending buttons, two 10th place finishes and currently in the play off positions.

What has a manager got to do to avoid getting the sack.

    Bonkers!

Zola's going to have to pull up trees to get the fans on side.

Crazy owners. What can you say?

Our man doesn't look quite so bad does he?

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted we've got Warnock but why didn't this happen 2 months ago when Trollope was floundering?

I've been an admirer of Rowett for some time on here and he would be my long term fit for us.

Feels like something has happened behind the scenes to me. Surely this isn't purely for football reasons?

Maybe they just found out Zola was available and decided to go for the glamour of a former superstar? It feels like one of those where they might find out over the next few months just how well Rowett was doing though!

Zola hasn't set the world alight with his managerial skills. Rowett had done a great job with literally no budget.

Nothing against Zola who was a great player but this could come back to bite them big time.

Agree 100%, this feels like a big step backwards for them.

Football is increasingly becoming a joke.

... Poor Bob Bradley will be next, and I think he's doing a cracking job <whistle>.

Like I said, our owner now appears not so bad. I think for a few years he didn't get what was involved and how a community relates to it's club. While we haven't seen him for ages he seems to be continuing and increasing his support. Fingers crossed.

A lot of these new foreign owners are looking for immediate returns and throwing Teddy from the pram when they don't get it.

Rowatt did a great job for Birmingham under enormously difficult circumstances and their fans loved him. Step by step improvements have been achieved within a limited budget and they are challenging for a play off place. I think we would be happy with that.

Do they really think that Zola can do better, even if they throw pot fulls of money at it? They are in for a bit of a culture shock methinks!!!
