    Agree 100%. I do wonder how he works and if he would need to change his style when taking a step up. When you see previous videos of new players joining he seems to be the happy one making the players feel welcome and relaxed.... I'm sure he's got a hard negotiation streak already drilled into him from Les!

    I don't know how the fine details work at Saints, but a fair amount of the time, when we praise Les Reed about player acquisition, I think we should be praising Ross Wilson and his team. He is head of player recruitment, after all.

    Sensible lad. Not attracted to the unstable bright lights of one the two major Scottish clubs in an obscure league. He's seen where his progression lies. Really pleased to have him in the system and we can expect more fantastic acquisitions down the line under his leadership. Future Director of Football to take over from Les Reed, I would suggest.

    Mitchell (our previous head of scouting) is interested in the Rangers' job. Does anyone know why he was put on gardening leave by Spurs....has to be a serious disagreement for that to happen.

    I still find it strange that he was in the slightest bit tempted. Unless Rangers were offering really crazy money which i'm 99% certain they were not.The the only other reason for him to consider it is that maybe he thinks Saints are heading into a massive downward spiral and now would be a good time to jump ship...

    So they didn't want Mitchell moving on with their secrets...perhaps they knew how he'd grassed us up. :)

    He obviously hopes they will allow him to take a job in another league.

    It would be nice to think it was out of loyalty to the club for a change that he decided to stay. My only worry is that now Mitchel is seemingly out at Spurs are they yet again going to come-a -callin' to try and get him. Or will he just say no thanks to them too.........Hopefully having turned down a big club like Rangers, he will turn down a little club like Spurs....<whistle>
