I can't believe some of the stuff that gets thrown his way! He's still a great player!

 

But where would we be today without cynicism? Both good servants for the club, and just about everybody knows the differences in their histories and Sir Bobby's connection with the club and country should be an inspiration to young players.

But that sounds cynical.

 

Is that cynicism or sarcasm?

 

I was meant as neither, but when I re-read the first para I added the second as an observation. Sir Bobby will always have the admiration of us older types for his achievement as a one club won-the-lot player to today's come and go for cash players.
