Ronaldo in deep water!

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Aug 14, 2017.

  1. You might have seen/read that Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to push the referee after he was sent off in Sunday's 3-1 win over Barcelona.

There are reports suggesting that he might get a lengthy ban.

We contacted the Spanish football federation, who told us that there will be news regarding the incident on Wednesday.

    (New item on BBC Football)

He seems to be fighting a few personal demons.

I wonder how much the tax evasion charges are affecting him?

If it's true that he pushed the ref, their governing body will have no choice but to throw the book at him. You cannot have players physically abusing the ref.

The ban will be in addition to the red card.

What do you lads reckon he will get?

    10 matches?

Bale will have a real chance to shine, now.

It was more of a press than a shove, but yeah, he'll get 8-10 games ban for that. Right back on holiday for Ronnie.

This might push them to get MBappe now, who knows?

    Silly thing to do.

He won't be banned for that long.

La Liga are as ****ed as The Premier League. He's their golden boy, he'll get a cheap fine and 3/4 games.

I'm not sure he's flavour of the month in Spain tbd mate. Maybe pay his taxes like everyone else.

I'm currently paying for my fat 'disabled' next door neighbour to sit in a hot tub for 10 hours a day. Grinds my ****, the lazy bitch.

Maybe he'll want to leave Spain and come home... I'm sure you'll all love to tell us how he's not worth whatever fee we'd be forced to pay aged 32.

I think Real Madrid will want to sell him for as much as they'll pay for Mbappe.

Let's assume he goes as long as Zlatan, which he probably could if he wanted to.

    That's another 4/5 years.

    I'd say £120m.

I think the deal would be far easier if he was on adidas' books, due to the marketing etc. He won't be going anywhere, it's the impossible transfer.
