With your money there are plenty of choices. I'm just interested in why you don't want Morata? He's 24, a Spanish international and plays for Real Madrid. Players like Suarez wouldn't join Utd mate, Morata is the next level down but by all accounts a very good striker. Would you rather spend 120mil on Mbappe, the French Rashford?
Morata isn't a shirt seller, that's why Madrid won't give him his shot. He wouldn't be considered the 'Marquee Signing' that Griezmann would have been for us either. He'll score goals, for sure, but he's made it blatantly obvious that he loves Real Madrid and we don't need another one of those at United. What we do need is goals though, so I'd take him in a heartbeat, if there's no better options on the table.
Morata with Rashford has huge potential, I think the pair would work. That's me being carzy thinking Jose will play 2 strikers. Forgive me.
I'd be amazed if people didn't want Morata. He's up there with any other striker that is realistically gettable. Jose presumably didn't play him at Madrid though so can't see that being a deal sweetener.
Jose promoted him to the first team at Real Madrid, the kid has huge respect for JM, I'm sure I read it on SSN the other day.
At least Klopp didn't tap up the rest of the Thunderbirds, though, eh, Matth! (Third time lucky with this joke, lads!)
OK fair enough. He wasn't the one who bombed him out to Juve then presumably?? If the papers are right, I'm a little amazed we are going for Lukaku over Moratta. Almost everything points to Moratta being the more sensible and obvious signing; save for P.L experience.
Neither Bambi nor Skiddy will appreciate that reference, Bluey! Pixie makes three, of course, but I don't know why you're bringing him into the equation?
If it's between us and united for Morata I can't imagine that he'd go to a club who's underachieving and last won the title Five years ago?
He was talking about you and your boyfriend Bell but then you knew that didn't you......I'm right aren't I.
It's all about perceptions, though, Skids. Sure, you did a great thing winning the title this season having fought a relegation battle in the previous season. It was like the Leicester City fairy-tale all over again. It caught the public's imagination. But United do have CL footy, thanks to them winning the Europa League (Chavs, of course, didn't play in Europe this season), and you know how much these foreign players love European competition. Mourhino is, of course, see as something of a European specialist. On top of that, United is the richest club in the World, with Chavs floundering way, way down the list. When you look at it in these terms, there is only one winner in this contest, mate. Expect Mourhino to be smirking all over the media and ripping the piss out of Conte, very soon, Skids. Sorry, mate.
