It's like having this nice and lovely to look at Alfa Romeo of the 80s and 90s. Nice to drive ...whenever it decides to start for you.
Neymar is going from Barcelona to PSG at his peak. 2 implications (at least). - Shows the rise of clubs like PSG who with their massive funds will increasingly play a huge part in European football and its competitons. The likes of Madrid and Barcelona are not going to have their own way in the next few years. It feels like the changing of the guards. Barcelona in particular will feel weakened by losing such a profile player. - As night follows day, it is certain that the brazilian at the RS will move to Barcelona. RS or Barca? ...Mmm hard choice to make The bravado of their manager in screaming: "He is not moving!" is just that. Barca will show £90m to the owners and they'll gratefully grab the money.
Not being funny but Barca don't get sucked into media crap who have made out he's world class, he won't be going anywhere you really believe they would pay 90 million for him, Liverpool can only dream lol. Barca will buy consistent world class players not someone who goes missing in 9 out of 10 games
I dunno, if they get almost £200m for Neymar then they will want to bring someone in, ideally someone who can slot straight into their system. Coutinho for them would be like us getting Valencia after Ronaldo - obviously not in the same class, but slots right into the vacant position and keeps the team balanced. A fee of £90m would be necessary as Liverpool (and any other seller) will know exactly how much cash they have just gotten from Neymar. Monaco are already reportedly trying to get Barca into the Mbappe bidding process to jack up the price with the Neymar money. Same as us after we sold Ronaldo and Spurs after they sold Bale, it might not be possible to get a top replacement at a decent price with that amount of cash in the bank. Juve apparently want £130m for Dybala, which may rise even further depending on what the Neymar fee ends up being. Although I still think it will be touch and go whether Coutinho moves. Liverpool can't afford to sell at this stage of the window, as they are hugely reliant on him, and if they lost him now that would almost certainly mean they missed the CL next year. £90m in the bank won't necessarily compensate for taking a big step back in terms of their ability to attract players. Barca might have to be willing to unsettle him and make him request a move if they are going to get him. Although it would be quite funny if they do, given Liverpool's failed effort to do the same with VVD earlier in the window.
Oh dear oh dear oh dear...will they never learn? https://www.oddschecker.com/insight...d-for-premier-league-success-after-bayern-win
This sums how much sh*show oil money has turned football into. Paying that kind of money for even Messi would have been excessive. Zero governance is enforced by the sporting bodies that are supposed to be governing the game. Not surprised given they have all been bought to begin with.
When Liverpool beat Bayern in a friendly 3-0 then Napoli go and do the same and its not so special no more
You seen our line up for the FINAL? #LFC side tonight: Ward, Flanagan, Gomez, Klavan, Milner, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Woodburn, Mane, Solanke
The RS fans rushing to the bookies to bet on the title after winning a pre season friendly. No wonder they are called retarded
Liverpool lost yesterday, albeit, on penalties.. So I guess their title ambition is gone again within 48hours of the all conquering victory against Bayern.
