Tell that to Real Madrid when they won the CL for the 10th and 11th time but were not La Liga winners in those years and they will say you are talking "mierda''
Kind of helps prove the point though doesn't it, they won the CL but couldn't win their own league at the same time. Like King said, it's hard to do these days.
Your real rivals are surely ........ Real Madrid!!! Biggest team in the world, even more new fans in India, Africa and China as a result of last night. Wonderful reception that started at 5pm and is now taking place inside the stadium.
What kind of reception did you give your team after winning the EL? You would do well to surpass the one that Real are getting tonight. Maybe if you win the CL sometime by buying Ramos it will happen.
Where is the Super Cup tie being held? Monaco? For two of the three teams with the biggest followings in the world it is just the ideal choice.
Do you remember Arsenal`s celebrations when they won the FA Cup and had a twerp called Jack Wilshere leading the singing/chanting from the back of the bus? Compare that amateur celebration with the one Real have had tonight and we see why Real are a phenominal club. So professional!! We can see why Real are far and away ahead of most clubs with the level of organisation. And not a ****head in sight among the players or crowd. I hope the United directors are watching this when United win something major again.
Yeah a club who's fans boo a guy who's scored over 400 goals for them, when he has a rare off day. That's a club with no honour and class if you ask me.
And what about a club where a section of its supporters have in the past booed their own record scorer?
Rooney has never been booed for his performances on the pitch, only time he was ever booed was when he was holding the club to ransom and trying to get a move to our City rivals for more money. Ronaldo has even said himself that he was never once booed by Man Utd supporters, and we had him during his most frustrating years as a youngster, where at times he looked liked he was going to struggle to fulfil his obvious talent. Not to mention the incident with Rooney at the World Cup. Real Madrid are the only club in Europe who's supporters would boo a player like Ronaldo for a rare bad game.
