The "one year we finished ahead of United, lah" trophy
To this year, next year or the year after?
One of them will surely be your year
This year for now, that may change to next year soon, if not then deffo the year after.
They won the top at Christmas trophy a couple of years ago, to much fanfare and backslapping.
Hoping to get that one again, so stop winning games!
I wouldn't mind Spurs winning this. I don't like seeing the chavs or any team running away with the title mid season (unless its United).
But I will find positives in any result:
Spurs win: the chavs run halted and United 10 points behind.
Chelsea win: United level with Spurs and only 2 points from 4th
Draw: United closer to both Spurs and Chelsea by 2 points.
Cracking game this, fair play.
A draw will do.
A defeat will affect Chelsea's psyche but a draw will do.
Courtois eyes closed on that second goal, soft ****.
Top class keeper though, obvs.
Liverpool 0 0 Plymouth
#kloppyflop thought he would copy JM. Ten changes and roll over a weak Plymouth. What he didn't realise (kloppyflop #fraud ) is that his second string is pure **** and cannot remotely be compared to United's.
The betting before the match was absurd, with a draw at 14 to 1 and a Plymouth win at 50 to 1 on (Betfair) I put a tenner on each. Profit of £120
Strong Liverpool team struggle against a weakened Plymouth team.
£130 Christian surely, you get that tenner back Well judged though
The odds should have been 13 to 1.
Betfair quoted 14 for a draw and a 1.1 for an RS win so that if you put a tenner on an RS win you get £1.10 returned to you and £140 if you bet on a draw.
Plymouth were very lucky - they could very easily have come unstuck by putting out a weakened side
This board has died and gone to hell
