Fair but lets not pretend the media is having no influence on peoples decision making.

So Sanchez is nominated for player of the year, but does not make the team of the year. How the **** does that make any sense?

Also Cahill is easier to spell than Alderweireld, so that's why he is in the team ahead of the Belgian.

The first of two Semis in the FA Cup with 1 and 2 facing each other. It's intriguing not only for progressing in the cup but for the league as well.

I'm edging towards Chelsea but it'll be very close and may go into extra time.

Both equally tough for us should we progress but Arsenal v Spurs would be a great end to a bad season.

Wow I didn't know that Spurs lost their last six FA Cup semi-finals. That is a dreadful record and it could quite easily end up 7!

Blatant dive for the pen. But then lloris did a deliberate handball.

All over now, Spurs lose a 7th consecutive Semi final . Not a statistic any team wants. I wonder if this will unravel their season?

    Chelsea have been very smart.

Its funny the pundits keep praising Tottenham but I think Conte has controlled the game tactically.

Soo Tottenham to finish 2nd with NO trophies - yet will be praised to high heaven. Must be years since Arsenal achieved all that.<laugh>

Good thing there's no media bias.

Unfortunately there is. But to be honest, Chelsea and Spurs have clearly been the best teams in the PL all season. But could Chelsea have landed the decisive psychological blow?

Good, I really didn't want to have to play Tottenham in the final if we get there

Messi scored his 500th Barca goal last night to win El Classico for Barca.

Another special goal from arguably the greatest ever.

I think justice prevailed in the end.

Casmeiro's goal was offside and he should/could have been sent off 3 times over. Plus, Barca created the better chances overall.

erm... you need to review the goal because casemiro was not offside, neither was ramos when marcelo played it back in.

I thought the match was pretty even but Messi decided it with some magic. If ronaldo hadn't been so greedy in the first half and played some of his team mates in real could have had a few more 1 on 1s

Amazing how many goals Messi has scored especially when you think of the start he had in life. On the same level would be the Ronaldo's. I remember how the real Ronaldo was, he had everything and was equally unplayable as Messi, but with the physical superiority. Just imagine a front three of Ronaldo, Real Ronaldo and Messi. Scary.
