Players usually state they wish to play for a team in the Champions League, i have never heard of one expressing a wish that said team had to qualify easily. What has United finishing 7 got to do with this? i don`t think we are bidding for him.
Suarez would sit on the bench just as much as Sanchez if he was at Barca, they have much better players than Liverpool and Suarez would be just another good player (in the same bracket as Sanchez).

for the record.... you were linked just as much as arsenal so its a wee bit rich wumming lfc on the same topic that you also could be wummed on.. i.e being rejected by sanchez.

I can equally say LFC never bid for sanchez cos its all paper talk until the world cup is over for the guy.

As for Suarez bench warming <laugh> thats funny. 70mil for a bnech blanket <applause well done.. thats as funny as your 34mil lft full bench wamrer and your 40mil spanish bench warmer...

I had no single player in mind, i was pointing out that it is unlikely a player would choose a team on the basis of playing Champions League for one season ?
Who do you think Suarez would displace on a regular basis at Barca or Madrid ?

    EDIT at Barca or Madrid.

Who he'd replace is debatable, but I can't see them paying the sort of money they'd have to pay to get Goofy just to have him chewing the bench.

I would accept Tello if he was a regular starter. Di Maria no, Suarez is not the same type of player and would not do the job as effectively at Madrid (though they do have Bale now for the wing position) <ok>

This is what makes me a little bit dubious about the reported interest from the two big Spanish clubs. There was supposed to be interest from Madrid last year but as far as i know only Arsenal put any kind of bid in.

Colombia's playmaker James Rodríguez was touted to Old Trafford as a teenager, but Alex Ferguson signed Bébé instead

went well for Rodriquez you mean! his record isn't exactly prolific a 1 in 3 sort of thing so thsi world cup is his high point. Utd would have him in the hernandez category at best....

    lucky him i say!

Van Gaal has left orders for the England's flops and the rest to do day and evening training at Carrington while him and RVP are living it up in Rio, bet Wazza wishes he'd signed for the chavs now because RVP is the main man as far as ugly louis is concerned.<laugh>
