I live in Peckham- looking out my window can see the flames and smoke from the building. Loads of youths grouping together.. More arriving every minute so I expect something to happen again shortly.

Agreed, this is totally mindless vandalism. Never mind bringing in the army... put them in the army I say! Give their aggression some use!

Looking out I can see a group of more than 50 boys.. They are grouping outside the park, coming in from nunhead, forest hill and dulwich. Appears to be very organised.

It's crazy- watching the helicopter on BBC and sky news, then looking out of the window to see the same images. Very, very sad to see.

There is no reason for this whatsoever, the Tottenham protest was peaceful then it was joined by criminals just out for what they could get and now kids are joining in for a laugh :(

So what will happen, anybody caught will get a few weeks community service and a slap on the hand.

Just got back to Catford. JD Sports apparently ransacked, all the local shops closed and stores in Sydenham and Lee closing now. However, seems that the Police have some semblance of control round here. Not good for my kids to see though.

Basically comes down to the fact they've got nothing better to do... there's no fear of consequence, so why not? It's shocking and terrible.

In answer to the original question... if the violence is like this tomorrow night I reckon there's a real chance Charlton will be postponed.
