OMG! Recorded it and just finished watching it! So moving! For her to die so young and he's still in bits, poor bugger!
Didn't see it wishi but I've read how heart broken he still is. Seems a really good dad, good luck to him and his children in dealing with it, hope they can draw strength from each other and get through it.
It was an interesting interview about ways to get kids to talk positively. It is in the end a great service to those who may take something from it in 5heir own situations.
Same here..every comment on it is positive..end of day, outside of football, he's a human being struggling to do his best in a situation no amount of money could have fixed...good luck to him and his kids. They deserve a fair bit after being thrown that bastard of hand.
I take it his wife died then, that's sad? The title makes it sound like he had a sex change. I've told the Mrs. she is not allowed to die before me. I don't think I'd take it very well. Plus, I can't imagine I would be great as a single parent. I wouldn't be cut out for it. I can't imagine losing a spouse but losing a parent whilst still a child must be devastating.
It was good that he engaged with other bereaved dads and it wasn't just about his story. That poor man with a new partner after his wife died then they had a new baby and the baby died. He was also trying to find out what therapy was available for the kids and he spoke to a couple of agencies who specialised in children's bereavement. He was in tears a lot, that was hard to watch, but I hope he finds the inner strength to move on in time.
