Was a great day last year. Definitely recommend trying to arrange a few five a side games first. You often get up against some well organised teams

 

If Tel was playing would he be the only black lad in the team.

A Tuesday night is a bit ****ing tricky - 16th May - but I will figure it out. I have to be in Denmark Wednesday morning, if I can still walk.

Otherwise, I'd go for 26th May, giving me 3 days to recover...

This is the some of the worst shape i've been in. Training starts tomorrow then.... nowt like a bit of focus

Well I'm 68 in March and have been trying to get myself fit since the idea was first mooted.
Even if I can only last 20 minutes or so I couldn't pass up this once in a lifetime chance, your only as old as you feel.

So you don't have to be properly fit to experience this (that you'll probably never get another chance for), Wishy Washy . . . . use Brian as a perfect example ('cos that's what he is) and think about it again

If you still decide against a few days in agony whilst your muscles adjust to 'normal' life again after what would be unaccustomed exertions, so be it, but we want as many from this family to be a part of this as possible

p.s. in this case, winning doesn't matter . . . . it really is a case of the taking part that does

 

have we got a definite date yet and do we need any extra players. I have two that's very interested and I know a few more younger lads who may be interested as well if you want me to ask them..

 

No we haven't . . . . 83's going to ask for more details tomorrow, like how much deposit do we need to pay and by when, and we're awaiting confirmations from quite a few . . . . we'll update a.s.a.p.

On my travels again so will try and keep an eye on this for updates.

 

From what's been said so far the best option seems to be Friday 26th (sorry Vegas) so that date is being 'held' for us for a little while.

Based on that it seems like we've got 5 from here (we'd obviously like more, but that's it for now) . . . .

'83 has confirmed that his brother is a 'definate' which makes 6

From my Thursday football lads I've got at least 4 'definites' and probably a couple more, which makes at least 10, from my sunday football I've got at least 1 more, which makes at least 11, and Whitey has at least 4 mates that are 'definates' and possibly 1 more, which makes at least 15 . . . . and possibly 18 with the 'probablies' (yes it is a real word, although 'probables' is probably more well known )

So we'd like more from here (come on lads) but it's looking better than it was
