Slade also declined to play Teixera, who is palpably better than Pearce.

Would KM/RD sanction any emergency loans, had the rules not changed? I wouldn't be too sure as we are almost definitely over budget.

Rumours he wasn't allowed to pick him, either way he's an idiot.

Tex has made the squad and an appearance (I think). Can't see the rumours of not being allowed to play him being true.

Slade said anyone not committed goes. Tex and Ba wanted to go and Slade didn't want to back down, despite both improving the team.

All the more ridiculous considering the club wanted rid of him in the summer.

I tend to agree with you, but maybe the rumoured clause is only triggered by league appearances.

Either way it doesn't really matter, he's gone and is probably happy as Larry, sitting at home in his y fronts and a hat, whilst gorging on an assortment of takeaways.

Slade lives in Chiselhurst apparently. I am surprised at that, as they don't have a Dunkin Donuts or even a Greggs in the High St.

He struck unbelievably lucky with his last two jobs for a man of his talents. His next assignment will be some ghastly Northern hellhole like Stockport or Barnet

Six weeks ago I thought he was a poor coach but a nice bloke - you couldn't even say that about him by the end

Wrexham would be a good shout, a UEFA accredited scout just around the corner, who could also fill in on the touch line without anyone noticing, should he ever fall ill. Assuming said scout hasn't had a drink.

I went past Old Hill about an hour ago and I saw a Pickfords lorry, must have another job lined up already.

A lot of footballers live in Chilsehurst/Petts Wood (my drinking ground).

I've bumped into Zola, Gus Poyet, Billy Bonds, Lee Martin (sitting next to him in Raj Doot), Hamer, and a load more.

The David Lloyds, Nuffield Health and the Bulls Head is always got either Charlton, West Ham or Millwall players in there.

Orpington seems to be the hot spot for south East London teams, Esher for sw teams.

They're just normal people. Not like they've contributed to society in some shape or form. They kick a ball. Big whoop.

Now if Jennifer Lawrence was in there... anyone from about 40 to 15 will be nibbling at their heels.

Well done Holden I'm in the Ramblers Rest on the 9th December.

Whilst drawing up protest plans for the following day at Bradford I shall have to keep my eyes peeled for any over paid pricks who would like to buy me a drink.:emoticon-0167-beer:
