    Can this be done?

Was on twice over the weekend and the amount of guests viewing outwayed the actual users logged in ...

At one point it was me logged in and 22 guests!!!

Can guests not just see the board/thread titles but if they want to see the actual content then you have to log in ?

Might make this place busier - at the weekend it was dead!

We have had this debate before mate when I wanted to do what you have mentioned in your thread.

However everyone else seemed to think that we would then be advertising a 'closed shop' <ok> <doh>

Wouldn't be a closed shop - simply a message gets displayed to view this (and post) sign up or sign in...

It looks a lot worse coming on Saturday/Sunday afternoon and there is no one on/no new posts!

    Cheers for the reply tho.

I think its a **** idea, I'm never going to join something I can't see full what it is and I suspect loads of folk would be the same.

We should restrict it to one Celtic are ****e thread a week though, we're hurting already.

I think the last time Mick had confirmed he thought it was a bad idea too, which meant that it was a non-runner <ok>

    Fair enough ...

So basicllay, every **** never bothers signing in, looks to see what's on (nowt) then ****s off instead of signing in and posting away! The board will soon becomr only used 9-5 Mon to Fri.

If yer nosy enough, you'll sign up/sign in to see the actual thread (rather than just a title).

This ofcourse is only my opinion...

Ah well... throught I'd point it out.

    Cheers

We could restrict it to say you can view 5 threads for free then you have to sign up to read more?
